Venue and Logistics

  1. Where is the wedding venue located?
    Our wedding will be at Creekside Canyon, nestled 15 minutes north of uptown Sedona.

  2. Is there parking at the venue?
    No parking is available at the venue, and ride-sharing services are limited in Sedona. We’ve arranged transportation for all guests. Please see the Getting to Venue page for more detail.

  3. What is the weather expected to be like?
    In October, Sedona typically enjoys mild weather with daytime highs around 75°F (24°C) and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl for the evening festivities.

  4. How will transportation to the venue work?
    Guests will receive their pick-up time, car number, and pick-up location on a card included with their invitation. See Getting to the Venue page for further details.


Dress Code and Attire

  1. What should I wear?
    Semi-formal attire is requested. Given the venue’s natural setting with grass, stone, wood, and gravel, comfortable and reliable footwear is recommended.

  2. Is there a specific color scheme guests should follow?
    There isn’t a specific color scheme for guests to follow. The wedding parties will be in green (the color on this site), black, and silver.

  3. Are heels appropriate for the venue?
    Considering the terrain, we advise against stilettos. Opt for wedges or block heels if you prefer some height.


Transportation and Accommodations

  1. Will transportation be provided?
    Yes, we’ve arranged transportation to and from the venue due to limited parking and ride-sharing options. Guests will receive pick-up details with their invitation.

  2. Where should I stay?
    Sedona offers a variety of accommodations, from hotels to charming Airbnbs. We recommend staying near uptown Sedona for convenience.

  3. Are there group rates at nearby hotels?
    Unfortunately no, we explored options for these however the hotels were unwilling to provide desirable pricing and terms given how popular this time of the year is.


Ceremony and Reception Details

  1. What time does the ceremony start?
    The ceremony begins at 4:45 PM sharp with transportation bringing guests to the venue between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Please ensure you make your designated transportation time slot to ensure we stay on schedule.

  2. What time does the wedding end?
    The wedding will conclude at 10:00 PM.

  3. Will there be a cocktail hour?
    Yes, a cocktail hour will happy prior to the ceremony, featuring a selection of our favorite drinks and hors d’oeuvres. Drinks will also be available after the ceremony and for the remainder of the evening.

  4. Are kids invited?
    Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration.

  5. What kind of food will be served?
    We’ll be serving a delicious combination of Mexican and Chinese cuisine at the reception, along with vegetarian options to ensure everyone can enjoy the meal.


Events and Activities

  1. What events are planned aside from the wedding?
    We’re hosting a golf scramble at Oak Creek Country Club on Friday, October 10th, at 11:00 AM. We’d love for you to join us if you’re available.

  2. How can I participate in the golf scramble?
    If you’re interested in joining, please indicate your participation on the RSVP form.


Gifts and Registry

  1. Are you registered somewhere?
    Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. However, if you wish to honor us with a contribution towards our honeymoon, we’ve set up a site at the link HERE

  2. Is it okay to give cash as a gift?
    We appreciate your generosity. Monetary gifts are welcome at the wedding and will be used towards our honeymoon and future endeavors.


Miscellaneous

  1. Can I bring a plus-one?
    Due to venue capacity, transportation capacity, and planning considerations, we are limited in the number of guests we can accommodate. If you would like to bring a guest not listed on your invitation envelope, please reach out to Jayson at 602-791-5811.

  2. Can I take photos during the ceremony?
    Yes! However, please ensure all phones are turned to silence
